What is Bras for a Cause?

The concept of "Bras For A Cause" is to have individuals, corporations, teams, and organizations decorate a theme bra and submit it to SI of the Langleys along with a $100 donation to SI of the Langleys. Last year we received over 100 theme bras including submissions from Michael Buble, Sara McLachlan, Sindi Hawkins MLA and cancer survivor, the Vancouver Canucks, and the BC Liberal Caucus among others.

The evening of April 12, 2008 we will host a benefit dinner and auction at the Coast Hotel, Cascade Ballroom in Langley. During the dinner, the theme bras will be sold via a live and silent auction.

Where are the funds going?

This year Soroptimists of the Langleys have a goal of $50,000 to purchase a Sentinel Node Probe for the Langley Memorial Hospital. This equipment will mean less invasive surgery for women undergoing breast cancer surgery.

Where to drop off bras and donations?

All bra submissions and donations will be accepted at Forever Yours Lingerie, 20577 Fraser Highway, Langley until April 1st.

All bra submissions require a $100 donation made payable to Soroptimist International of the Langleys.

How to get involved?

Create a theme bra, donate an auction item, attend the Gala Benefit dinner.
