SI of Courtenay

Charter Year: 1944

SI Courtenay is the largest club in Western Canada Region and one of the largest in Canada. We are proud to have our founding president still an active member along with two other founding members. We have a diverse membership of business and professional women whose talents and energies fuel the enthusiasm for our annual Women's Day fundraiser and Successful Dressing for Less fundraiser and project.

We support our local Dragon Boat Hope Afloat team; Comox Valley Transition Society with Soropti Paks for women leaving difficult family situations; RCMP Boot Camp for Youth; Boys and Girls Club camps; Hospice Society; bursaries for high school and post secondary students; a bus shelter; bridge in Simms Millennium Park and a viewing stand on the Airport Walkway, plus much more. Our most recent service projects are Soropti Paks and Success Dressing, two worthwhile projects we are proud to provide to the women of our community.
