Our club presents awards at an annual spring luncheon. There is a Women's Opportunity Award, given to a woman who is head of her household and is going to university (or equivalent) to upgrade her skills and re-enter the job market. We also present the Violet Richardson Award - to a young woman aged 14-17 who volunteers in our communities.
